Mariah

Hi there!

I’m Mariah (MFT-I), the founder of Intimate Harmony Rose PLLC. I am an associate level therapist that specializes in relationships, individual growth, and human sexuality. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, cultural awareness, and a deep respect for the complexity of modern relationships.

I specialize in working with couples, ethically non-monogamous partners, individuals, and men who want depth not surface-level conversations. Many of my clients are thoughtful, high-achieving, and self-aware, yet find themselves repeating patterns in intimacy, communication, or emotional regulation. Together, we slow things down, identify what is happening beneath the surface, and create practical shifts that lead to lasting change.

I believe intimacy and personal growth expand when people feel emotionally safe enough to be honest and steady enough to be themselves. My approach centers clarity, consent, accountability, and self-trust especially for those who have learned to shrink, overperform, or carry more than they should alone. This is a space where you do not have to explain your humanity.

I DO NOT ACCEPT INSURANCE DUE TO THE FOLLOWING:

  1. I am an Associate-level professional. Most insurance companies will not cover services provided by an Associate-level counselor.

  2. I prioritize your privacy. Insurance companies require therapists to submit diagnoses, symptoms, treatment plans, and at times details about what was discussed in session in order to approve care. I am not comfortable sharing your personal information with a third party to justify your growth or healing. Our work is confidential and I intend to keep it that way.

  3. Insurance requires a mental health diagnosis for coverage. While diagnoses can be useful in some situations, many of the people I work with are seeking support for relationship concerns, intimacy, stress, or personal growth that does not fit into a disorder. You are not a billing code. Therapy here focuses on your lived experience and your goals, not labeling you unnecessarily.

  4. Insurance often limits the number of sessions and determines what is considered medically necessary. Growth, relationship repair, and deeper emotional work do not always fit into a preset timeline. By remaining private pay, we can move at a pace that is intentional and aligned with your needs.

  5. Much of my specialty work, including couples therapy, ethically non monogamous partnerships, and sexuality focused concerns, is not covered by most insurance plans. In many cases, one partner must be given a diagnosis for services to be reimbursed. That approach does not reflect how I practice or how I view relationships.

Choosing private pay allows me to protect your confidentiality, focus fully on your goals, and provide specialized care without compromise.
